For Spring/Summer 2014, New Balance releases a three-piece pack that takes inspiration from ye ol’ barber shop — more specifically the traditional barber’s pole seen hanging out front in a whirl of red, white and blue, and often encased with silver lids. Such are the color cues for the pack that includes the New Balance CM1600, MT580 and M999. With direct color references being the main focus, the shoes still boast a make-up of premium materials like suede and mesh which only adds to the retro appeal. The New Balance “Barbershop Pack” is set to release within the first weeks of 2014, so keep an eye out for more to come.
