Here VICE‘s Epicly Later’d wraps up their latest installment, following up on their account with Kansas City’s own Sean Malto. Even from his days as a grom on DC Shoes, Malto wore a number of hats beyond all of those slouched beanies – titles like “the perfect young man” and “mini Koston” weighed firmly upon the young man’s shoulders, whilst elsewhere the skater was earning his stripes on the legendary Girl Skateboards team. While many would fizzle out under the pressure, Malto has thrived – turning his modest Midwest beginnings into a truly successful, admirable career. In this episode, Patrick O’Dell recruits testimonial from Rob Dyrdek, Mikey Taylor, Aaron Meza, and even Ty Evans to help tell the phenom’s story so far. Enjoy the video above.
