Essentials: Anna Lomax

Making a left turn from our usual subjects in this series, here we consider the everyday items of a quirky London creative – Anna Lomax. after graduating from Brighton University with a specialization in Illustration in 2007, Lomax has gone on to forge a unique path in set design and art direction. Her talents range from shoe construction to exquisite hand drawings, and with a portfolio that includes quirky work with Clarks Originals, VICE magazine and Nike, it seems as if Lomax will be in demand for the foreseeable future. Her Essentials are intrinsically tied to her insatiable sense of craft, including a glue gun and gaffing tape “to fix any and every set design problem,” yet also mix elements – gold, a carnival mask, and pineapple phone case – of her individual personality.
