Martyn Ashton Literally Stunts in "Road Bike Party 2"

Last year mountain bike legend Martyn Ashton swapped his usual trial cycle for a good ole road bike to film his YouTube sensation “Road Bike Party” – a video that saw the English rider attempting some pretty gnarly freestyle stunts on both natural and man-made objects. Now a little over a year later, Ashton teamed with the Global Cycling Network to premiere “Road Bike Party 2.” Though this highlight video doesn’t need much of an intro, many viewers may not know that Ashton recently suffered a severe spinal injury that has left him paralyzed from the waist down during the time he was filming RBP2. Thanks to his riding buddies Chris Akrigg, Danny MacAskill, and Martyn Hawyes as well as filmmaker Robin Kitchin, Ashton was able to see his sequel through. Peep “Road Bike Party 2” above.
