The nominations have been announced for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. As we have learned last week, Jay Z was the big winner of the night with nine nods leading the pack that also included Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with seven nominations each. In total, the ceremony encompasses 82 categories with a wide range of known and lesser known artists. Below you can check out the candidate lists for the categories “Record of the Year,” “Album of the Year,” “Song of the Year” and “Best New Artist 2013” while the complete nomination list can be viewed over at Grammy.com. The winners will be announced at a televised ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 26.
