Helmed by a collective of like-minded individuals with an interest in fine food, experimental bars and nightlife, Night Tales was launched last month as a six-week project celebrating London’s gastronomy and music culture. Transforming a emptied East London bunker into a place of food and festivities, the pop-up features a swathe of the city’s most exciting food and beverage labels, with Smokey Tails heading the lot. Created by world renown DJ and producer Seth Troxler, Smokey Tails ties the knot between food and music, with its prized Southern U.S. BBQ menu — featuring recipes that’s been passed down the family for over 120 years. Presenting three signature dishes – Applewood Smoked Chicken Wings, Pulled Meat Burger, and the Hickory Barbecue Ribs – head chef Frodo guides us through the cooking process, offering a behind-the-scenes look into how the drool-inducing meals are prepared.
