Come With Vintage Vin to the Depop Clubhouse at Hypebeast Cup
The third and final Depop seller on display at our month-long soccer activation walks us through his curation of garments – WHATMORE-approved warmup gear, practice jackets, and plenty of vintage kits included.
If there’s one thing Depop seller Vintage Vin knows a lot about, it’s the stateside expansion of the soccer apparel market.
“Seeing this stuff in the United States wasn’t [always] so common,” recalls Vin, the final seller on display at Hypebeast Cup’s Depop Clubhouse. “It just reverberates how huge this sport is around the world, because now you’re seeing it with casuals, non-fans, super-fans – everyone is invested in the game somehow, someway, and I love to see it.”

Throughout Hypebeat Cup’s activation in Manhattan for football’s biggest month, the Depop Clubhouse remained home to a rotation of different vintage sellers; it was only right that for the final event at the pop-up, Vin himself – donning a vintage Nike Team USA away jersey from 2004 – walked us through the space.
On his rack, Vin has a wide variety of garments ranging from a lineup of different kits – both club and international offerings – and a selection of vintage soccer pieces, spanning warmup gear, practice jackets, team hoodies and sweatshirts. Even WHATMORE popped out to check out the display.
“I would love to be here to talk to them about the significance of each piece – especially the jerseys in case they don’t know,” says Vin. “I just love to educate about it.”
Even though Depop Clubhouse’s doors are closed now, fear not; you can still shop the Hypebeast Edit on the platform to get your hands on one of our community-sourced vintage pieces.
