Set a decade after Gen-Sys’s Alzheimer’s curing drug genetically altered the intelligence of their enraged ape patients – thus spreading a humanity threatening virus around the world – Earth is now torn between its two primary inhabitants in the latest installment of The Planet of the Apes. Still led by Caesar, the growing legion of evolved primates have agreed to a shaky peace with the remaining humanoids to share what is left of the land, but that’ll prove to be short-lived as a war once again ensues to determine who will become Earth’s dominant species. Releasing to theaters on July 11, 2014, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will star Andy Serkies, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke and Keri Russell.
