Maintaining an unconventional take on modern streetwear is Play Cloths, who has recently released the first installment of its goods for Holiday 2013. Splitting the release into three capsules, the brand unveils a colorful, diverse collection inspired by sportswear, traditional Norwegian patterning, and even gothic interiors. Accordingly, Play Cloths utilizes patterns such as jacquard stripes and floral patterning on sweaters and casual shirts, contrasting them with cathedral-inspired prints across T-shirts and other staples. The color palette relies on dark hues – burgundy, grey and beige – to execute the collection, yet also offsets these colors with the occasional bright splash. The Play Cloths Holiday 2013 collection is available at retailers now and will launch on the brand’s website November 12.
