Following this year’s return of the “Persian Violet” Nike Air Max BW OG comes a reworked edition of the classic silhouette for spring of next year: the Air Classic BW Gen II CMFT. Essentially a tech-heavy update to the OG 1991 silhouette that keeps the overall aesthetic intact, the Gen II CMFT sees an injection of Hyperfuse technology to the upper – including a molded, perforated tongue – while a drop-in Lunarlon footbed and flexible Free-inspired outsole join the visible Max Air unit for a more cushioned feel than the BW has ever provided before. Offering new-school technology with a decidedly retro look, the Air Classic BW Gen II CMFT is set to hit Nike Sportswear accounts sometime in the early part of 2014.
