Nike 2013 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection
Nike has officially taken the wraps off the full Doernbecher Freestyle collection for the year.

Nike has officially taken the wraps off the full Doernbecher Freestyle collection for the year. This year’s collection features seven unique colorways across six of the brand’s popular silhouettes.
Starting things off is Daniel Pena’s rendition of the Air Jordan 10 Retro, which features several firsts for the model, including a clear outsole and a customized logo atop the glossy camo print upper. Red accents along the eyestay and heel, as well as a tire tread design down the heel round out Daniel’s Jordan 10s.
Ross Hathaway chose the Zoom Stefan Janoski as the canvas for his detail-packed rendition. The low-top skate shoe features a black upper in a combination of snake-embossed leather and canvas with dimensional pops of color inspired by Ross’s rock collection. The tongue features palm trees around the logo; inside is a digital rose print for the insole, and underneath are two lungs printed on the outsole.
Next up is Elijah Diggins’ Foamposite, which features a black and red upper inspired by his favorite athlete, LeBron James. The shoe also features a smiley-face logo, Japanese characters symbolizing courage, and a chain-link print on the insole.
Jake Dering’s Free 5.0 features a lenticular material upper to give the appearance of motion, and boasts details like orange and purple Flywire, an infrared Free 5.0 sole, and the phrase “I wasn’t made to fit in, I was made to stand out” printed inside the shoe. Bella Stone also had the opportunity to customize the Nike Free 5.0 and her version features a vibrant pink and blue upper with pink sparkles and a heart with kidney-shaped accents.
Twin sisters Kate and Kara each got the chance to customize a Roshe Run and Dunk Sky Hi respectively. Kate’s Roshe Run features a green and black upper with details like rhinestones and medieval sword-inspired accents. Kara’s Dunk Sky Hi features a black, red and white upper with ribbon laces, lace embossing, and corset detailing on the heel.
The Nike 2013 Doernbecher Freestyle collection will be available starting November 23 at select Nike locations and online.
