Star Wars: Episode VII Release Date Announced

While this news may come slightly early for some, ardent Star Wars fans will be glad to know that the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII is now confirmed for a release date of December 18, 2015. Disney and Lucasfilm has announced that the saga will again enlist illustrious filmmaker George Lucas, with help from J.J. Abrams to direct a script written by himself and Lawrence Kasdan. While no acting choices have been confirmed, original cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford have been rumored to appear in the film. Filming will take place in the UK, continuing its British roots as the previous six films were all partly filmed in the country. Stay tuned for more on Star Wars: Episode VII.
