Luc Jacquet x Veja ESPLAR "Moabi"

For its latest collaboration, French shoemaker Veja has teamed with Oscar Award winning director Luc Jacquet to create the ESPLAR “Moabi.” To coincide with the release of Jacquet’s latest film Il était Une Forêt – “a heritage movie about the primary rainforest and how crucial they are in today’s ecological challenges” – the two chose to rework the ESPLAR silhouette with a print inspired by the Moabi leaf. These Brazilian made kicks further feature an upper that mixes an organic cotton material with blue leather accents, all of which sits atop a white rubber sole that was sourced from the Amazon. The Luc Jacquet x Veja ESPLAR “Moabi” is currently available here for $980 HKD (approximately $125 USD) and will soon be available at the HYPEBEAST Store.
