It looks like Kanye West is embarking on another tour these days. While his Yeezus Tour resumed in Philadelphia on Saturday, he gave a talk at the Harvard Graduate School of Design today. According to DONDA‘s creative director Virgil Abloh, the session was part of the “DONDA design lecture series.” DONDA has been responsible for the artwork on releases such as Yeezus, Pusha T’s My Name Is My Name, 2 Chainz’ B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being 2, and more. There are no more details available at this moment but we sure will keep you posted.
UPDATE: A video of his lecture has emerged online and can be viewed here. In addition, a transcript has also surfaced and can be viewed here. Pitchfork has also pointed out a couple of quotes from Kanye:
“I really do believe that the world can be saved through design.”
“I believe that utopia is actually possible, but we’re led by the least noble, the least dignified, the least tasteful, the dumbest, and the most political.”
