Although the TDE roster recently grew by two, with the addition of singer SZA and rapper Isaiah Rashad, it looks like the left coast label looked also add a certain budding Chicago rapper as well. Speaking with Al Lindstrom, TDE President Punch spoke on finding SZA and the failed attempt of signing Chance the Rapper. Also going on to share his thoughts on ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming album, Oxymoron, Punch went on to compare Q’s LP and Kendrick Lamar‘s good kid, m.A.A.d city to two critically acclaimed albums from 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. by going on to say:
I like to compare [Oxymoron versus good kid, m.A.A.d city] to All Eyez On Meverses Life After Death; how Life After Death was sewn together, it was very cohesive, when All Eyez On Me was just crazy record after crazy record.
