Earlier this summer, soulful singer Mali Michael presented a smooth electronic rendition led by his moving vocals. Titled “Ghost,” the track debuted the young London artist’s ability to flaunt his falsetto with effortless ease. Mali Michael has only released another single since his inauguration, yet his latest offering cycles backs to the foundations of “Ghost,” enlisting Samir in providing a leftfield dance production. Samir – the alter ego to Leeds techno producer Happa – alters the original with darker, distant riffs, presenting a menacing rehash where Michael’s poignant vocals glow amid the stuttering drum kicks and daunting reverbs.
