Known for its in-house prints and stocking of luxury products from the most famed designers around the world, London retailer Liberty realigns with Nike to release a two-part collection of Air Max 1s adorning the iconic “Bourton” paisley pattern. The “Bourton” print was first produced on dress fabrics in the 1960s, and has since been a huge inspiration for Liberty’s honored list of craftsmen. The bold print has been featured on the classic lightweight cotton Liberty Tana Lawn fabric since 1987 – coincidentally the same year the Air Max 1 was introduced to the world. The one-off collection reveals two colorways – a black rendition with a charcoal Swoosh and a navy version with its own gold check. Both drops are currently available at Liberty’s London shop as well as online for £120 GBP (approximately $194 USD).
