Following a guest DJ appearance on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 live music sessions show, Damon Albarn – the vocalist and songwriter of Gorillaz – popped up with an unheard track titled, “Whirlwind.” Brought to our attention by our friends over at HYPETRAK, apparently the song did not make the final cut for Plastic Beach, the third studio album by the British virtual band. Featuring sounds from the Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra, check out the song in the video stream above.
