California-based Volcom Stone recently held a skateboarding event in Paris to celebrate the world premiere of its latest film, True to This. The World of Volcom Stone was held on October 5 at Le Centquatre and it embodied the brand’s vision by having DIY stands for visitors to do their own silk-screening and accessory customization, skate demos by the Volcom international skate team, an advance premiere of True to This, and an appearance by psychedelic metal rock group Black Bananas.
Volcom Stone was founded back in 1991 during a snowboarding trip by Richard Woolcott and Tucker Hall and continues to share its passion for art, music, film and board sports, all under the creative ethos of “Youth Against Establishment.” Check out our recap of the event and tell us what you think.
