Taking over the Saturday Night Live platform as both host and performer, Miley Cyrus put herself in the hot seat by poking fun at her own VMA performance, her “twerking” obsession and performing a parody of summer song “We Can’t Stop” as “We Did Stop.” While also discussing issues such as the government shutdown and the whereabouts of alter ego Hannah Montana, Cyrus brought her SNL appearance to a close with an acoustic performance of “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball.”
