The tech boom of recent years has turned nearly every industry a competitive landscape. Publishing is not exempt from this, highlighted by the bevy of tablet readers released in the last couple of years. Barnes & Noble’s Nook is a frontrunner in its class, presently getting an upgrade in the form of the Nook Glowlight. This light, versatile tablet comes outfitted with a 6” display, a battery life extended to around 8 weeks, and a high-resolution E Ink® display – which renders digital pages as close to the real thing as possible. The Nook Glowlight also allows users to adjust text sizes, and of course has access to Barnes & Noble‘s 3 million-title library.
