Lomography has been one of the most ardent supporters of analog photography as many continue to find ways of incorporating the simplicity of film with the powerful world of digital. The latest interplay between both analog and digital is happening before our eyes with Lomogoraphy’s Smartphone Film Scanner which enables one to instantly digitize their 35mm film. The hardware combined with the Lomoscanner App will allow you several features: sharing (of course), editing, ability to create seamless panoramas, and produce short animated movies. The Kickstarter-funded campaign has already reached its goal more than two weeks ahead of schedule. Two videos offer the details behind the scanner which should provide photography fans yet another great creative tool.
