Raf Simons 2013 Spring/Summer Film

Approaching his latest lookbook for 2013 spring/summer in the form of an abstract short film, Raf Simons has recruited visual artist Pierre Debusschere to showcase the forthcoming collection in rigid, monochrome glory. Styled by Robbie Spencer, the eerie slow-moving picture accentuates the collection via a number of striking silhouettes — well-tailored shirts, floral-printed suits and textual garments — perched onto a few grungy models. Helmed together by a suggestive lo-fi voice over, which dabbles on a band’s aspirations, this conceptual film shows the collection in stern artistic execution.
