As if the concept of the portable speaker couldn’t get more portable, Swiss design studio BERNHARD | BURKARD developed a spherical speaker smaller than a baseball. Designed for Hong Kong-based brand OYO, Objects You Obsess, the Ballo Portable Speaker is a perfect sphere with no actual stand. As a result it lays, rolls or hangs for a 360 degree music experience with your choice of a colorful belt that both protects the speaker and increases the bass tones when placed on a fixed surface. Compatible with most audio devices using a standard 3.5mm jack, this product features a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and with two, one could achieve a stereo-like design. Available in 10 different colors, the Ballo Portable Speaker by BERNHARD | BURKARD for OYO unfortunately has not come with any release details, but depending on its price point and sound quality it will likely become a favorite within the marketplace.
