Frank Ocean Wants Chris Brown Prosecuted Following Fight

Yesterday we shared the news of Frank Ocean and Chris Brown‘s physical altercation, and today more information surfaces of the leading events. According to TMZ, Chris Brown may have actually thrown the first punch, contrary to what initial reports were sharing. Reports now say that due to Chris Brown feeling disrespected by Ocean, when the Odd Future crooner refused to shake his hand in the parking lot, Brown went on to assault the rising R&B star. Instead of going on to shake Brown’s hand, Ocean laughed at the gesture, causing Chris to lose his cool then throw a punch and ignite the brawl. The fight then moved from the parking lot into the lobby of the studio where an unnamed witness went to say:
They managed to break almost everything in the room and scare all of the staff members working
After the receptionist called 911, Brown fled the scene, while Ocean waited for the authorities where he expressed how he was “blindsided” by Brown. Now Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials claim that Ocean wants to press charges. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore spoke earlier today, going on to say:
Of course, we are going to investigate. It is our understanding it does not rise to the level of an alleged assault. As a matter of fact, it could be a minor scuffle over a parking spot.
Rumor has it, that the studio had a hierarchy system in place for its parking spots, where bigger artists gain access to the preferred parking spaces, and Brown felt he deserved the spot Frank was occupying. Brown is currently on probation for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna before the Grammys in February 2009, and he also reportedly got into a fight with singer Drake last summer at a New York nightclub.
