Chairlift - I Belong In Your Arms (John Talabot & Pional Remix)

A couple of weeks ago, Brooklyn-based synthpop band Chairlift released a karaoke-themed video for the Japanese version of their song “I Belong In Your Arms.” Now, the acclaimed duo is back with another take on the track. This remix by John Talabot and Pional keeps lead singer Caroline Polachek’s vocals in their original language, but screws them down, spaces them out and surrounds them with new sounds. If the approach on this was to turn “I Belong In Your Arms” into a completely new song, that mission was completed. Give it a spin now and expect this to be included on a 12” due out October 29.
