It looks like American Idol is looking to add some hip-hop perspective to their judgement system. As TMZ points out, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj have been added to the list of potential judges that “expressed interest” in joining the casting show. Pharrell Williams and Diddy have been previously added to this list. If Yeezy should join this team, he is also expected to cash in seriously, as it would “at least match Mariah’s salary” of $18 million a year. Stay tuned and expect a final decision on this really soon as the new seasons kicks off in January.
