Swedish fast-fashion retailer H&M has just announced its plans to open up the company’s largest retail destination. Occupying the storefront at 589 Fifth Ave. on the southeast corner of 48th Street, the new store will boast 57,000 square feet of retail space split over six floors. Following the company’s retail strategy, this new store will sit just blocks from the company’s already established Fifth Avenue store. The impending store will eclipse the current largest in Las Vegas by some 6,000 square feet. As the flagship store, the new location will carry the company’s entire range including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, its sportswear collections, and its home collection. The new flagship store opening is slated for sometime next year.
