SWG BLACK PLATINUM 2012 Fall/Winter “My Closet” Collection Launch Items

SWG BLACK PLATINUM —  sibling brand of Japanese label SWAGGER —  usually showcases evolved streetwear inspired by vintage clothing, workwear and military garments. For Fall/Winter 2012, its spectrum of design references has extended to hunting and nautical cultures and, as this season’s “Play the Gentleman” moniker seems to suggest, a more refined vision of the typical SWAGGER aesthetic. The hunting influence runs only skin-deep, however, and is confined to hunting lodge images on two grey-based T-shirts, while the collection’s shorts sport text-based graphics reminiscent of those found on old, wooden freight crates. The jewelry is a standout of the collection — necklaces with anchor, key, and coin pendants and an innovative pair of sea monster claw rings. The SWG BLACK PLATINUM 2012 Fall/Winter “My Closet” collection will be available from August 25 at SWAGGER branches and stockists.
