Frank Ocean continues his winning streak this year as he has been announced as a performer for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. While being nominated for three awards including Best New Artist and Best Male Artist, he is also expected to deliver material off his critically acclaimed album channel ORANGE.

The lineup further includes Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pink, One Direction, 2 Chainz, Ke$ha and Alicia Keys, who is set debut the title track off her upcoming album Girl on Fire. The event will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, and aired live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 6 at 8 p.m. EST.
