The Corgi is a realization of these tendencies in sneaker form. Despite the lack of variety in its footwear offerings, Buddy instead focuses on manufacturing its Japan-made shoes to the highest standards and leaving the wearer to impart his own unique imprint on the product. The uppers are constructed in premium cow suede and as only one animal is used to craft a single pair, the nap differs on each and wears uniquely. The label’s name is derived from this concept of “making friends” with your shoes over time.
