Dr. Dre Makes Forbes’ Highest Paid Celebrity List

Who really needs Detox when you got headphones? Forbes has unveiled their annual list of highest paid celebrities. Dr. Dre reached the top 5 of the list, being the only person within the hip-hop circuit that seems to have cashed in serious money. The Doc claims spot numero five, thanks to his $110 million earning through Beats by Dre headphones. The biggest part of that sum has been generated through Beats’ deal with HTC last August where the phone corporation paid $300 million to buy 51% stake in Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s company. Hence, it looks like Dre will not be added to the list next year, as this was a one-off deal according to Forbes.
