Zedd - Spectrum (Sam Wire Remix)

Zedd has been running an open contest offering producers to remix his current single “Spectrum” with the winner receiving a swathe of producing equipment/software including Ableton Live 8 / Intro, Native Instruments S4, AIAIAI Headphones (Beatport Edition), Sounds To Sample Elements Library, a release of the remix on Interscope Records, and a surprise gift from the German DJ. One of the standout entries of comes from dubstep producer Sam Wire – his submission is a smooth, sample-heavy rework, with a steady buildup going into a classically grimey drop. The entry segment of the contest ends today with the voting phase set to commence tomorrow.
