Luxury British knitwear specialist John Smedley has rolled out an array of products aimed at ensuring that purchased merino or Sea Island cotton is handled with extreme care rather than tortured by the dry cleaner. The collection is made up of wool and cotton washes, a freshening clothing spray for use between washes and a stain bar – all containing moth-repelling cedar and piling-preventing lavender. It seems only appropriate that a brand known for its extreme attention to detail when creating garments has unveiled a product with equal specificity for the caring of these products.
