Featuring hip hop heavyweights like Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Rick Ross alongside the likes of Neon Indian, Penguin Prison, SBTRKT and more, the mixtape sees them further refining the sound that they’ve crafted over previous mixtapes.
The Mixtape Volume Six continues The Hood Internet’s long-running series of free releases and comes at the onset of the Hood Slung Tour, the group’s run of live dates with UK beatsmith Star Slinger and fellow Chicagoan Chrissy Muderbot. In addition to promising plenty of sweat-soaked dance floors, The Hood Slung tour is the first chance audiences will have to hear a sneak peek of new material from Star Slinger and The Hood Internet, both of whom have debut records slated for release later this year.
