ACNE has unveiled their first book, Snowdon Blue, from Acne Studios that celebrates the photographic work of Lord Snowdon. Containing 61 portraits of famous individuals wearing classic blue shirting – including Serge Gainsbourg, David Bowie, Ralph Fiennes, Jeremy Irons, Graham Greene, Sidney Nolan and Manolo Blahnik – the book is an homage to a style of wear that transcended age, ethnicity and sex. The launch of the book with be accompanied by a touring exhibition at ACNE stores in London, Paris and Stockholm – with the first event scheduled for May 3. In addition, ACNE has also produced eight limited edition blue shirts to complement the release of their inaugural book.
