Vela Exercise Bike by Lunar

Design firm Lunar reinterprets the exercise bike with the release of the “Vela.” Essentially, the bike is designed keeping in mind the fact that fitness equipment has seldom seen radical new designs, but more importantly then it has never really been specifically designed to reside within with the same aesthetics as the modern home. Lunar augmented the Vela with lights surrounding the bike and that are color-coded to the variety and intensity of the user’s workout. The Vela also features suspended gears and pedals within the bike’s unconventional frame as well as merged legs, seat and handlebars to further streamline the appeal and function. The Vela asserts itself as a clever and eloquent forecast for the possibilities of home-specific fitness equipment.
