Tokyo-based fashion optics label EFFECTOR specializes in classically inspired, handmade eyewear. Their 2012 collection includes a wide range of design collaborations, including another addition from NIGO, formerly of BAPE fame. Called the “Darryl,” this optical frame houses a bridge cutout and downward-slanting lenses which are said to cull design inspiration from themes in the year 1984.
