The previously previewed Spring/Summer 2012 THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL collection has started to trickle into selected Japanese stockists. One of the centerpieces of the collection is this 65/35 Mountain Pullover Jacket — a subtle redesign of a classic The North Face pullover from the early 1970s. It’s constructed from a blend of polyester and cotton, and features two-tone fasteners and Velcro. Of course the PURPLE LABEL line is only available in Japan, so you’ll have to get your fix through a handful of retailers such as nanimica, where the pullover jacket retails for ¥24,000 JPY (approximately $290 USD).
