The designer’s previous portfolio definitely influences the timepieces with the overall aesthetic taking on a rather industrial appeal. Heavy brushed metal cases and lugged metal gear hardware bring to mind shifters and pedals from the German carmaker, a guise that is effective in supplying an edge and sophistication to the collection. Attenuate hour and minute hands pair well with both contrasting and matching chronograph cylinders that reside within the face, while subtle a “ISSEY MIYAKE” namesake is emblazoned across the right of the each watch face.
