But it’s not the large, circular lenses from vintage pilot sunglasses making an appearance that gave the collection its namesake. Rather, Ksubi is referencing the modern wars against the global system by combining both disparate and carefully engineered elements to create a rebellious hybrid grunge aesthetic befitting of the 99%.
