Handsome Coffee Roasters is the whimsical and artful brainchild of one of the most respected coffee professionals in the world. Led by Michael Phillips (the only American to ever win the World Barista Championship), the goal of Handsome Coffee was to create coffee’s metaphorical “chocolate factory,” by launching a flagship coffee bar out of an old warehouse in Los Angeles’ downtown Arts District. The flagship bar will also house the brand’s roastery partitioned behind glass walls, creating a show piece out of their craft and allowing customers a glimpse into the entire operation. The unique space was designed by architect Kari Richardson of Venice, and features a warm, modern interior designed by WoodSmithe of Los Angeles.
