Dum Dum Girls - Coming Down

Arguably one of the standout tracks off Dum Dum Girls’ 2011 offering Only in Dreams, “Coming Down” has received a visual translation. Helmed by the band’s bassist Malia James, the black-and-white video displays lead singer Dee Dee wearing a 1950s-style dress and singing to the camera while a crowd of people casually cuts pieces of cloth from her body, reminiscent of Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece.” In addition, the group has announced a set of dates throughout North America and Europe which you can check out below. Only in Dreams is out now via Sub Pop.
