This year marks a number of important milestones for Nike Sportswear, one of which is the 40th anniversary of the iconic Cortez. Initially released in limited quantities in 1968 as the Tiger Corsair, the kicks were renamed and dropped once again in 1972. Returning for 2012 in O.G. form, this Cortez features a premium navy leather upper alongside a white leather retro Swoosh. A slim foam sole and contrasting orange midsole stripe serve as the foundation for the nostalgic runner. One of many tributes to the ’70s classic set to drop this year, the Cortez Classic OG Leather is now available from Size? in the UK for £70 GBP (approximately $110 USD).
