It seems as though Lil Wayne, one of the hottest rappers in the game, is now taking shots at his ‘Best Rap Album’ Grammy competitors Jay-Z and Kanye West. Besides giving a moment of silence for Whitney Houston and announcing signing Christina Milian, Weezy offered freestyle at the YMCMB pre-Grammy party with clear shots at the Throne.
“I met a bad red bone, I took the b*tch home/ I asked her what she want to watch, she said, ‘Surely not the Throne,”
Since 2009, Tunechi and Mr. Carter have been going back and forth in a subtle battle of who is the better and wealthier rapper, throwing subliminal shots at each other. It will be interesting to witness the aftermath when the Grammy Award winner for ‘Best Rap Album’ is announced.
