Japanese fashion design house N.Hoolywood (Daisuke Obana) is channeling a bit of dated Earnest Hemingway and chill dockside style with its new Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The unique line layers the highly functional nautical inspiration of wool peacoats, shearling bomber jackets, and a sleeveless trench paired with bottoms like heather newsboy trousers. Obana’s signature check pattern also finds its way into some of the outerwear styles, effortlessly blending the undeniable Tokyo fashion sense with enough functionality to combat the winter chills.
