Focusing on a variety of timeless silhouettes as well as modern adaptations of traditional sandals and slippers, Givenchy rolls out a series of visuals showcasing its recent footwear collection for Spring/Summer 2012. A range of patent and full-grain leathers find their way onto a selection of derbies, creeper boots, gladiators and flip flops, while a segment of Birkenstock-inspired sandals are mocked up in olive and seafoam greens. Understated branding embellishment is positioned towards the rear heel and straps of each iteration while eccentric plastic zipper accents, contoured footbed, and a pin-up girl aesthetic complete the design of numerous footwear pieces.
