Shedding light on the influential work of Mike Miller, Freshjive and its founder Rick Klotz sat down with the iconic photographer for its latest “Moving Pictures – An Interview with Mike Miller” short film. Showcasing personal stories from his career, Miller discusses his experiences working alongside the likes of Cypress Hill, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Doog and Eazy E. The rather colloquial footage forgoes focusing on the technical aspects of Miller’s art in favor of understanding some of the intimate memories and individual sentiments surrounding his encounters through the years. Mike Miller will be presenting his latest “West Coast Hip-Hop A History In Pictures” exhibition this weekend at Known Gallery in Los Angeles.
