Fiona Apple announces March tour dates
In case you’re not already aware, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Fiona Apple is back.
In case you’re not already aware, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Fiona Apple is back. Well, she’s about to be at least. A month ago, Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid gave Apple a “welcome back” tweet and insinuated that new music would be coming from her. Now, to add further promise to her reported return, it’s been revealed that she will be performing seven concerts next month. To begin her tour, the “Criminal” songstress will hit the stage at Pitchfork’s SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas on the 15th. Then, she’ll continue on to play shows in Chicago, Washington, DC, Brooklyn, Atlantic City, New York City and Boston. The tour will mark Apple’s first in five years, and if fans are lucky, she’ll put out her first album in over six years sometime in 2012 too. Check out the tour dates below, and head over to Apple’s Facebook for info on ticket sales.
