Many people were first acquainted with Kavinsky from the Drive movie soundtrack, where he collaborated with Lovefoxxx for the irresistible ”Nightcall.” Today, Kavinsky releases the visual accompaniment for his newest track, “ProtoVision.” Set in downtown Los Angeles, this synth-heavy, futuristic tune becomes the background for an ’80s style car chase. “ProtoVision” pairs beautifully with the video, which features the elegantly powerful Ferrari Testarossa as the star subject. Though you might not own a Ferrari, the song seems to be tailor made for nighttime car adventures. “ProtoVision” is available now on iTunes.
